Multiobjective H2/H Control Design for a VSTOL Flight Model

چکیده
In this paper, an application of a multiobjective optimal controller design approach on a multivariable vertical short takeoff and landing (VSTOL) aircraft system is presented. To achieve good performance subject to white noises, bounded power disturbances, and to model uncertainties, and to have an acceptable reference tracking, combination of both H2(LQG) and H methods is used. This method uses a time domain game approach for H2/H design. It’s required to solve the corresponding set of coupled algebraic Riccati equations to gain multiobjective controller.

The common consideration on economic model is that there is knowledge about the risk of occurrence of an assignable cause and the various cost parameters that does not always adequately describe what happens in practice. Hence, there is a need for more realistic assumptions to be incorporated. In order to reduce cost penalties for not knowing the true values of some parameters, this paper aims ...

متن کاملMultiobjective H 2 =h 1 -optimal Control via Finite Dimensional Q-parametrization and Linear Matrix Inequalities
The problem of multiobjective H2=H1 optimal controller design is reviewed. There is as yet no exact solution to this problem. We present a method based on that proposed by Scherer 14]. The problem is formulated as a convex semidef-inite program (SDP) using the LMI formulation of the H2 and H1 norms. Suboptimal solutions are computed using-nite dimensional Q-parametrization. The objective value ...
متن کاملMultiobjective PI/PID Control Design Using an Iterative Linear Matrix Inequalities Algorithm
Many real world control systems usually track several control objectives, simultaneously. At the moment, it is desirable to meet all specified goals using the controllers with simple structures like as proportional-integral (PI) and proportional-integral-derivative (PID) which are very useful in industry applications. Since in practice, these controllers are commonly tuned based on classical or...

In this paper an approach for robust anti-windup compensation design for multivariable controllers based on the characterization of H2-H∞ norms as Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMI) is presented. The method consider a mix of H2-H∞ performance indexes on the transfer functions of the disturbances to the controlled output, and of the actuator output signal to the controller output signal. The contr...
